Photography Information & Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in taking photographs on our beautiful wine estate. To ensure an enjoyable experience for all visitors, photographers, and guests, we kindly request that the following guidelines and conditions be observed.
Availability & Bookings
- Photography sessions are strictly by appointment only.
- A limited number of photography sessions are available per day; advance booking is essential.
- Availability is subject to weddings, functions, accommodation bookings, and other activities taking place on the estate.
Photography Options & Fees
1. Estate Photography – R300 per 2 Persons
Additional guests: R100 per person (maximum of 5 persons)
This package includes:
- Access to designated photography areas on the estate.
- Photography rights for personal use.
- Use of our most scenic outdoor locations for photographs.
Photo-friendly areas include:
- Vineyards
- Tree-lined pathways
- Lawns and gardens
- Water features
2. Country House Photography Experience – R1 500 per Couple
Additional guests: R150 per person (maximum of 8 persons)
This package includes:
- Access to the designated Country House photography areas for 1 hour, with unlimited access to the Estate grounds for photography.
- Photography rights for personal use.
- Use of our most scenic locations for photographs.
- A glass of sparkling wine or a non-alcoholic alternative to celebrate the occasion.
- A delicious cheese and snack platter.
Photo-friendly areas include:
- Vineyards
- Tree-lined pathways
- Lawns and gardens
- Water features
- Designated Country House areas
Please note: The restaurant, tasting room, and accommodation areas are excluded from photography access unless prior arrangements have been made.
Conditions
- No furniture, décor items, or structures may be moved without prior permission.
- Confetti, smoke bombs, glitter, or any items that may cause litter or damage to the property are strictly prohibited.
- Photographs may not be used for commercial, advertising, or promotional purposes without the prior written consent of Doolhof Wine Estate.
- Photographers are responsible for the conduct of their clients and for the safety of their equipment while on the property.
- Full payment of the total amount is required within 7 days to confirm and secure your booking.
