It starts long before the first glass is poured.
This lunch is rooted in the pursuit of great food, great wine, and the simple joy of gathering around a fire.
Over the coming weeks, carefully selected meats will be sourced for the table, shaping a lunch inspired by braaing, storytelling, and sharing exceptional red wine with good company.
On Saturday, 25 July, those stories come together on the Doolhof Country House terrace for a cozy long table lunch experience.
Expect a three-course lunch built around premium meat, thoughtfully paired with a selection of handcrafted red wines by Doolhof winemaker, Rüdger van Wyk. Along the way, Rüdger and the team will guide guests through the wines, the vintages, and the stories behind them.
This is more than a food and wine pairing. It is an afternoon around the table and in the company of people who appreciate both.
